1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I've known people from several parts of the world/language backgrounds/educational backgrounds who weren't much better than that. Good help is hard to find.

 

The messes I cleaned up helped me get raises. Also, the mission objective was clear cut. Sometimes being able to work on something with a clear objective was a treat.

 

This has got to be the worst one yet

 

It got worm here also but is cooled of this week.
I'm off work for the season mid May. Anytime after that works for us.

Felt the building shake with the unmistakable deafening sound of freedom and rushed outside to see two F15s flying low overhead…can’t tell from the photo really but they were super low.



Wonder what the occasion was

 

My office (rarely go in now) is right next to the air guard base down here. We get F16s ripping past us almost every morning. After almost 15 years the cool factor still hasn’t worn off for me!

 

Yeah we have a few Air Force bases around here including Edwards which has some pretty awesome jets fly in and out of, but out in the desert and by the time they are over LA they are way up there. Rarely see them ripping overhead this low, and these ones came back overhead again going the opposite direction

Different animal but Ive been to a few rocket motor LATs and one AUR test fire for work, those solid fuel motors will shake you to your soul!

 

Ah ok that makes sense, well that's the highlight of baseball season for me

 

It's hard to go from post season hockey to mid season baseball but in the summer when I off I love having baseball on in the background.

 

This is down by me, kinda. Feels like the whole thing for the price of the blower… Trying very hard to fight the urge to add this to the parts hoard, LOL

I'd enjoy putting this into my 97 regular cab.

 

I've been craving a single cap, 4spd 86 f250 IDI.

 

I had a reg cab long bed version of that truck I posted and traded it towards my old 100 series and I still miss the damned thing. I'd take it over the 100 at this point. An old f250 RC would be a nice thing to have. I love that body style. Are you down to the van and the Tacoma now?
Hell I like all old man reg cab trucks nowadays. There was a local bright red '23 RC f150 shorty for sale recently I almost went for haha.
