I run the same. I switches out the stock wipers not long after buying the truck. Just put on a new second set last week.

If you guys can remember to order things in bulk, RockAuto is always the most economical option. I have Trico beams that cost like $8 and those are one of the "premium" options. Buy two sets at a time, put one set away for the future and forget about them. Still cost less than local parts store.

Then take the money you saved and spend it on other mods. :spending:

    So. Many. Stickers.
    Ozark Banjo Land

I think it's mostly because July and August out here are pretty much as hot as Arizona but as muggy as New Orleans but yet barely any rain so people put the stuff in there and then it just sits and cooks and cooks and Cooks. Replace tons of wiper nozzles and feeder tubes and actual pumps because they were just gummed beyond belief. Every now and then you get lucky and you can run hot water with dish soap through it and it'll help clear it out. But once those tubes start to degrade you're done.

I imagine in your case using it a lot and then running the blue stuff through in the spring and summer probably helps. I don't think there's like a hard rule about this stuff. It's just what I've seen. So grain of salt and all that.

    Bingo

I really should do that before driving or Wheeling in the mud. Oh well. Need to get a new windshield first. My dealership applied cracks have grown.... :bananadead:

Weird. I wonder if they use the same style on the 4Runner. Up until recently, I was just replacing the actual rubber part in the OEM blades, and I thought they worked well.

Nah, I'm good. I still have the OEM 4Runner wipers. I just picked up some aftermarket ones awhile back in a pinch.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
They only have to last the next 8 days, really.
