I ordered some bolt on hooks, should be here by the weekend and I will get them installed (with a photo!). I was overthinking it honestly. I have a small 7610 Kubota that can't life more than 500ish pounds with the FEL. Even the "cheap" hooks are rated for 4-5k. If I have any issues, it's user error at this point!

man you can absolutely wreck shop with that bar......

its all about if your tractor is big enough for what you try to wreck. If you got a bx series or 25 series JD? dont try to bite off too much or you will twist the FEL for sure. (experience talking here.)

That's interesting. Your pic is not super-clear, but I thought I read "Kioti" on the side of it. But now I'm wondering... the taillights on your tractor look like mine, at least from the side. The lens on my "driver side" is broken since I bought it. I tried to find a new lens online but no luck. The whole assembly is $179. :spending:
If yours is a Kioti, but the taillights are the same as mine, maybe maybe maybe they're cheaper?

EDIT: I hate going back to the page with those pics. Every time I go there that picture that @six5crèéd posted of that Pink Tractor hits me in the face . . . :annoyed:

Installed hooks today. “Powder coat” flaked during install which I suspected but the bolts, plates and hooks all looks solid. Should do well for what I need!

This is on a BX bucket they’re all shaped a little different I used the 3” angle to kinda square it up and welded on the hooks

    Yep Kioti 4010...
    Pretty much same as 3901.

The Kioti engineers went to Kioti a few series back & that's when they updated everything.

Was a huge lawsuit between Kubota & Kioti.. In the end there is just enough done different.

Kioti is based in south Korea instead of Japan...

Love my Kubotas... But on this new tractor it saved me 10k & I couldn't say no.

    Don't worry I still got a Kubota b8200.

Mahindra may be the #1 selling tractor but I am not impressed, at all. This one has 1,4xx hours and is a piece of junk.

Guy told me it had a leak at the front axle. It was a constant drip out of the swivel so I took it apart.

Turns out it’s because the shaft on the transmission end was pushed back about 1/2” and wasn’t sealing on that end :frusty:

I pulled it out with pliers and it quit leaking.

The swivel has some wear from lack of grease, the front had grease.

Whoever installed the wear bushing at the factory didn’t line the grease hole in the bushing up with the grease fitting hole in the housing.

    upload_2025-3-28_7-40-49.jpg

I removed the grease fitting and drilled it through, the original one is on the right.

    upload_2025-3-28_7-41-23.jpg

Not sure what holds the shaft out in the trans, I’m gonna put a stop collar on it cause there is room on the outside, hopefully it’ll last for a long time.

He also told me 4wd didn’t work, why would it when the shaft was pushed back and the coupler wasn’t connected :frusty:

Well I misplaced the key to our tractor the other day (did find it later) but decided to order some replacements. $30 for an "OEM" one. No thanks. Picked up 10 off Amazon for $22. So should be good on keys lol

Stopped by a John Deere dealer recently and they had a master set of keys to fit everything, every brand, I think it was around $50
