Do pine cones also count? My kids collect pine cones and rocks for me, they just go for rides in the truck now.

I've got a 10mm tagging along everywhere I go as well, mine just sits in the engine bay and hides when I come around.

Installed new rear bumper by BAMF. I beat the hell out of the stock bumper to the point where there is not much left.

Yes I am considering it - I would be offering these in PETG to help withstand the temps inside our trucks. After running the numbers, these would be $65 shipped. Let me know if you would like to purchase one and what color, and we can go from there. Thanks!

Been looking to buy a Prinsu rack or something similar, but found someone local selling OEM racks for $50 and couldn't pass that up. I always liked the OEM rack look and supposedly there's hardly any wind noise when they're folded.
These were a bit sun-faded so I repainted with Herculiner before throwing them on.

Normal maintenance today- replaced the spark plugs and PCV, cleaned the MAF and throttle body, and took out the factory intake. Putting in the Pele Prints cowl intake kit tomorrow.

Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to her last week. Over 10 years and 283,000 miles, never let me down. Grateful to walk away. Says a lot about Toyota and an 18 year old truck

Got bored, did a bad spray paint job on some interior parts. The satin black I got doesn't match the other pieces very well, but oh well. Prepped them better than I have anything else and they turned out cheap looking. But, from a distance it looks okay.

Thinking about buying some SS5s for my ditch lights (replacing 2 sets of ss3s when I get a job again)

    Sigh

The seats are in! I still need to get the passenger airbag working. I'm so in love with them. It feels like a whole new truck.

The seat sits higher than the OEM seats, but that's on account of the bracket I used.

Installed a new IM steer shaft to rid the clunk demons. Did a tiny bit but still present.

Got back in the garage today and followed this fellas approach... bam. Done deal. She's butter smooth now. Feel like im driving a new truck now

    20250329_114215.jpg

Had a buddy push down on a screwdriver to shove the shaft down a bit w the bolt loose (from OP diagram photo) re-tightend and that's all she wrote

Lot less shaft sticking up through now = bye bye ckunk/rattle
