I thought it had some cool new lore/universe info never covered before. But also has quite a few of the corny Disney type moments build in to it. Still worth the watch for anyone in this thread but I haven't recommended it to anyone I know is a geek or avid SW fan

Lots of new stuff coming out of Celebration in Japan. New Maul animated show, very excited, Mandalorian movie May 22 2026, and another movie, Star Wars Starfighter coming 2027 with Ryan Gosling.

Also, Andor season 2 starts on Tuesday with 3 episodes per week for a month.

 

I dislike how they all have different directors honestly. Maybe once someone makes one people like theyll stick with them. The shows that had all different directors had some inconsistency that was annoying

the mandalorian had different directors for their episodes. most shows dont have the same director for every episode. 1st season of andor had a few different direcrors

but...then again...maybe all this will become null in a few months when they inexplicably get cancelled again. lol.

 

I think the only one with a chance of being cancelled is the Levy movie. Mando is in post production, Maul is going to be a cash cow there's no way they cancel that. But frankly, Levy proved with Deadpool he can make money. I'm thinking something Han Solo like with a Guardians of the Galaxy feel

I'm conflicted about that. a part of me would enjoy that kind of movie. or a full on deadpool 3 kind of comedy. but another part of me would be so confused about how it fits with star wars' "space opera" feel. lol. i know, it's ironic but i fully acknowledge it. hahah.

 

The Legends/EU books are so all over the place. There's one, a Han Solo story, that's basically Oceans 11. That'd be a cool one

There were 2 zombie books! There's a rumor going around they're considering a horror movie, that'd be right up my alley
