Will I be safe to haul the mattress and box spring? It will be a 3 hour drive.

I know I need a couple ratchet straps but how would I go about strapping them?

Looks like I’ll be good with 3 ratchet straps?

Make sure you're running at least one or two through the tie down points, and more is better. If you have 5, use 5. The most important thing is to give it a pat and say "she ain't going nowhere."

King mattress, 4 ratchet straps, only almost blew off once as I got passed by 2 semis :rofl:IMG_5931.jpg

for what it’s worth I think you got it. Might be good to have an extra set of ratchet straps on hand

I ran mine standing up with 3 over to top and two around the rear. I modded my tie down rails with t nuts and d rings though so I have a total of 13 anchor points in my bed.

Be sure the straps are tight, but don’t over-do it. A mattress can be ruined, with straps that are way too tight.

Husky 15ft ratchet straps. I recall using basically all of the length so I would go extra long but again, that’s a king so 15ft should have you covered for a queen. GL OP be safe

It’s my old bed that I had in my bedroom in my hometown. I figure I can save money by taking my old mattress rather than paying 400-500 on a new mattress here in town.
