    No!

    LMAO
It's 45 degrees out... The passive heat is on!

...pullin' off the roadway for some fresh taco juice so I have a minute
This issue has been going on for a long while and it is not acting right, I can't get a good grasp to pinpoint this

It is the 5VZFE with the R150F, which was a rebuilt tranny from a year ago after I had the clutch parts changed for the first time at 340k
Pretty much all new OEM dealerparts sourced except for the tranny mount (not replaced), the clutch pressure plated (dealerparts on backorder at the time and picked up an aisin clutch kit from RA that had this pressure plate)

The issue that has been occurring is the shifter stick vibrates like a mofo between 50 and 65 mph in 5th gear, it stops vibrating over 70 to 75

In 4th gear at 55,60, 65 it will not noticeably vibrate like it does in 5th
The rpms in 4th at those speeds is rather high and I just don't like it riding up there so I throw into 5th to bring rpms down and then the vibes start :annoyed:
I don't want to risk a speeding ticket going 70+ on a 55 limited highway just to keep on 5th, I don't think the sheriff or state trooper would accept that is an excuse lol

I don't exactly know what or where it's vibin at
And definitely am worried these vibes are doing harm somewhere doing damage just no clue where

    youre not giving rpms....
made sense to me as stated, 55 in 5th gear is probably lugging the engine excessively causing the vibration....
rpms too low at 55mph in 5th...
    Im speculating but give #s....

    For some Q searches(know u driving)
    -U joints
    -carrier bearing

I’m going with tires….either tread separation or balancing

    At 55mph
    5th runs about 2200
    4th runs about 2700

It Could be anything! That was a new OEM dealer sourced part on discount... Pricey AF! The yota mechanic would only use a new OEM flywheel for this clutch job

Carrier bearing was replaced with a new OEM... Pricey AF even on that big holiday discount the parts dealers have on occasion
The old bearing did have a bit of up and down movement, kinda saggy...so I just had the yota shop put a new one on since the had the prop shaft out to remove the transmission transfer case to get at the clutch parts

The ujoints are all original..aged 28 years
I did ask for a professional inspection of those ujoints while it was dissembled and he said they were in ok shape

If it were the tires or wheel balance wouldn't I notice a shimmy in the steering wheel?

so this is what I am noticing...
While in 5th and the gear stick is just shakin' away in the 55mph range
I let off the throttle All the Way and the shakin' just Stops
Ease back onto the throttle and the shakin' resumes

What might be causing this :notsure:
    I am not a mechanic...just a hack

    Hmmmm

    something to do with torque

    I mean 1st/2nd/3rd/4th all pull….
5th(could argue ‘Overdrive’) pulls the least amount of torque than the other gears

    carrier bearing?
    Hypothetisizing here
1-4th CB kicking up in the donut bushing…..affixing the drive shaft = minimal vibration
5th drive shaft is more level in CB perished bushing (bc of lack of torque) causing vibration

    Internet guess brother
