Because of the inspiration on page 109, grabbed my heat gun and removed the TRD Off Road vinyl from the bed of the truck. I also got rid of all the "don't put a plugged-in toaster into the bathtub" warnings from my sun visors. More room for my patches now and they'll actually stay in place with that fabric!

What temp setting did you use to remove the stickers from bedside and visors?

Wired a ham radio under the back bench to the 10A #2 AUX plug in the driver kick panel. Worked like a charm. This is my first Tacoma/pick up, and I'm in awe at how easy mods are with this thing. Interior panels pop right off...

I have a Dewalt 20 volt heat gun and I used the "low" setting, the minimum temp on the gun is 550 degrees Fahrenheit per my manual.

I used a plastic trim removal tool to get the edge up and then used the heat gun about 1/2 to 3/4" away from the decal. I just went slow and steady a small amount at a time loosening the adhesive as I went. Cleaned up the very minimal residuals with Goo-Gone and a microfiber cloth which took no effort or pressure. I'd say the total process took me 45 minutes to an hour for both sides.

For the visors, I used the same setting and same method. Did it in the vehicle. Used the trim removal tool to get the initial corner up and then just used the heat gun over the sticker before pulling on it. They all came off in one piece and those only took me 5 to 7 minutes for each visor. Way easier than the bed sides.

Took Yoda up to the Blue Ridge mountains and picked up my camper from storage in my MIL's garage. Yoda towed that 3400 lb rig like it wasn't even there. Computer said that we got 14.3 mpg, but like many here I think that may climb a little as it works through the break-in period. Doing a long haul trip camping up through upstate NY hitting the Thousand Islands, Adirondacks, Lake Champlain areas and I'll track the mileage throughout that trip with Fulio, which I just installed on my Pixel 7. That'll really tell what the average mpg towing is in varied terrain from lots of Interstate miles plus smallish mountains and rolling hills.

I added the rear spoiler appliqué from Ecoological this week. The team over there is working on some nice overlays for the 4th gen Tacoma. Below are some before and after pics. I love the look, and the quality of this product is fantastic.

Playing the waiting game now at Relentless Fab. Steel tubes high clearance front and rears. Fuck waiting for the other companies to develop some shit. I’m tired of waiting on the market.

Added the OEM tonneau cover (PT954-35240). The instructions said conflict with spray-on bedliner but it went on with no issues.

I wonder what the issue is with the spray in bedliner as my truck has it.

When you open it, do you have full access to the whole bed? Can you prop it up while open and still drive without worrying of it flying off?

You loose some space in the front when it's fully open. The cover is secured with screws in the front and has bars to lock it in place so you can drive with it open. The instructions do say to not drive at highway speeds when it's propped open.

I saw no issues other than the drain tubes don't fit in the existing bed holes. They need to be enlarged.

Which finish did you get? Is that the textured black TPO?

Took off the snow tires and replaced the OEM summers tires (265/65/18 General Grabbers) with Nokian Outpost nAT at 265/70/18. What a change, looks way more aggressive and fills the wheel well much better.
