There’s one I’ve seen several of that is eluding me finding again(race car matches user name) and of course that Dollar General truck!

Last tub of bigger scale cars. Meyers Manx Dune Buggy. Have to look this one up. Has no name on it. Hand held control has cables in that turn the front wheels. Missing a few stickers and needs a good cleaning but appears to be in great shape .

 

I actually have 2 but thank you! I think someone else was looking for this too but I'm not sure who

They’ve only made yellow, champion white, and blue versions in the RLC’s so far. Blue just came out the other day, I think it’s still available on Mattel creations site.

Damaged package and so bought it…

 

I want to love this one more than I do. I just finished fitting Auto Drag style wheels to a Maisto 1968 Mustang Cobra Jet.



I don't love it, I don't hate it. Luckily it wasn't a particularly expensive setup ($17 for the model, like $18 for the wheels / tires). I'll see if I throw some tire decals on if that changes my feelings.

 

You should love it. I think it looks great!!

 

The oe are horrendous. I’m with you… the weld wheels just don’t… maybe weather them or clear matte to get that cast/not polished look.

 

Oh yea, I found one…..

 

Personally I like the shine on MickeyMcFlys wheels but there is a product out there that you brush over chrome that helps pull out more detail in the wheels and also lets you tone down the chrome a bit. Not sure the name of it but I do the same thing with flat black testors very diluted with lacquer thinner to bring out details with a wash and then cloth towel to wipe up the access quickly.

 

If any of you happen to be in the Boston area on April 13. Not a hot wheels show but there are people selling them. Antique toy show.

 

You spend $10 on a Citation? That may be the most valuable Citation around anymore.
