    Did you check the engine first? I haven't read the manual, have you looked in there? I know it tells how to reset the Maintenance Reqd light. I'll be heading out in a bit I'll take a look.

    Disconnect the negative battery cable. You should get the code read though. Tell us what it is and we can help you.

    To reset the maintenance required light:
    1) Cycle trip meter to the Odometer
    2) Hold in trip button
    3) Turn off ignition
    4) Turn ignition back on DO NOT START THE TRUCK
    5) Odometer should start look like this 000000 --> -00000 --> --0000 --> ---000 --> ----00 --> -----0 --> ------

    lol hey it happens. I drove off from the gas station with the gas flap sill open and cap hanging out two weeks ago for the first time in my life. Didn't know cap would make light come on though
