I would never offer to work graveyard if it’s not my assigned shift. :anonymous:

Hah, it took me a long time to work up to daylight hours. I originally started out on graveyards to get in the place. I figure it's waking up a couple hours early two mornings so why not. Extra money is always good.

Haha I definitely won't be volunteering for overnight shifts. We had 2 guys that just came off of it after 3 months and glad to be back on days.

I worked that shift many years due to low seniority, and I now have sleeping disorder :annoyed:

I think I did two years of it; I swear I took 10 years off my lifespan. Then went to 2nd shift so I could finally go to bed when it was still dark out. Then finally moved up to daylight. 5am to 3pm 4 days a week o_O

I'm single, no family to really worry about so I figure why not :notsure:

Now for a family man, I don't recommend it. Their time is best spent with their kids and family.

I'm retired so have more extra time than extra money, not really a bad situation. ;)

I'm a bit further South from you and some how all my bulb plants didn't freeze when they started shooting up early.

Found out last night that one of my aunts passed away on Saturday. We weren't close but my reaction to the news is kind of surprising me. First off, I'm not an overly emotional guy.

When my dad died, I immediately shifted into "is mom okay?" mode so I didn't really have time to think about it.

When my mom died, I was mentally prepared for it when I got the call.

For my aunt, because of us not being close and not knowing how she was doing health-wise, the news kind of came out of nowhere.
