Kids in yesterday. Good visit, good food, new jobs for a couple, no new babies this go-around. We're likely past that. Good to see everyone together. It's a lotta work at our age, but it's more than worth it. We are the gathering place. Hope that continues for a long time.

    Morning all:

In for a treat today at 1:00, my fishing buddy invited me to a meal of Walleye scallop chowder! :hungry: !

:( On another note, a guy I have known for all my life just had a stroke, stopped at his place last night and luckily it wasn't a major one and he seems to be doing ok.
Dr. told him he can't drive for a while, but he lives in town and can walk out his back yard and be in the parking lot of a grocery store and a little bit down the street is a pharmacy, two big pluses as for not depending on someone having to take you there.

They look great... Does anyone have a good brat that they like? I've been trying a few over the years and they just don't taste like they used to. I found one that is as juicy and filled with flavor, but it's a flavored one and too hot as it is, and I have to boil it to get some of the spiciness out. Too many of the old standbys taste like chemicals.

Carl: Hope your friend gets well quickly.

Brats look delicious. I really like the shelf on the Performa Grill.

Good morning. Getting ready for another busy week. If the weather looks good I will be placing a meatloaf on the smoker. We are supposed to have severe weather today starting around 5pm.

Went to a motorcycle show Saturday. Modern Classics at Martin Moto in Boyertown, PA. This was a big event for them up until Covid and they decided this year to start it back up. They clear out the entire dealership and turn it into a mini museum for the weekend. All bikes must be approved/invited to be on display. Thought some of you might enjoy.

I wish I'd taken a better shot here. The silver grey with red bike is a Yamaha Seca 650 turbo. The Honda with gold wheels and Turbo on the muffler is a CX650 turbo and the black/red close to the date stamp is a Kawasaki GPZ750 turbo. Out of shot is a Suzuki VN85 Turbo and a Honda CX500 turbo. These 5 models were the only factory turbocharged bikes ever offered and all are from the early 1980's. All 5 are owned by the gentleman in the red Honda t-shirt and are likely the lowest mileage, best examples of these bikes in existence. I met him once before at another show and he told me that he'd lusted after all of these when they came out but could never afford them. He admitted he's done well in life and it was his goal to collect the whole set. Of the 5, the highest mileage is the Suzuki with 342 kilometers on the odometer which he'd flow to Sweden to purchase. All 5 have been disassembled to the frame and gone through replacing any part that was less the showroom condition with NOS parts. He flew to Germany to bring back a set of NOS Kawaski mufflers for that bike which only has 41 miles on it be the mufflers had some rust!

This last bike is for sale at the dealer and is something I'd never seen or even heard of. This is a JDM only bike apparently. A Honda CBX400F Integra, a 400cc inline 4 with factory 4 into 1 exhaust and frame mounted fairing. Inboard mounted front disc brakes and only 6000 kilometers showing since new in 1982. Only $39k if you're interested.

    Good Morning :hattip:

Made it thru the Severe weather here in my area of Middle Tennessee last night . We had numerous Severe T storm warnings along with being in Tornado watch . Also had very strong straight line winds and could hear these strong winds slamming my house . You could hear the wind trying to push thru my attic vents

We also had very loud thunder and the lightning was also intense . There was maybe four Severe t storms hit my area last night

Watching my local Weather right now and they're mentioning more Severe weather for Wednesday night and another Severe weather threat for this weekend

    Good morning!
'Severe weather' here in San Diego North County: The streets are wet! (LOL)

For my Baja fans, I am doing a final (I heave said this before, ha!) update and improvement to my Road Guide. Just started yesterday... so it will be a few days to finish. You can tell what pages are the new version, as they are visually much larger to read. Linked on my website, at the top and in my What's New at VivaBaja.com page.
