I forget who originally mentioned the aged and ore products but its most definitely the best way to bring some good stuff to camp.

    Had a little windfall so… I splurged.

So far the first pour has been good. Sweet with a little burn but still smooth. Heavier mouth feel from the last couple of bottles I’ve picked up.

I was going between this and Redwood Empire Screaming Titan. I went for Penelope since it’s bottled in my home state and the store had it discounted.

The bottle is outstanding, the whiskey is mid. I won’t likely seek out a replacement. However I may save the glass and start my own infinity bottle. The decanter is too nice to throw out.

A little cask strength on a rare rainy night here in Colorado.

Custom knife I had commissioned for my time in Afghanistan, 2004-2017.

Did my annual pilgramage to Richland distillary. They were out of Milk Stout rum, so I had to settle for Imperial Ale. Another bottle of Vennebroeck while they had it. And a bottle of 10 year old RRXO (took second place in a worldwide tasting, after Barbados rum from a distillary that's been doing rum since 1700s, IIRC).
$1200 later...(no all bottles fit in the pic). Port finished RR is my 2nd favorite drink, after the Milk Stout Rum.
If you like rye bourbon, you will love Richland.

The new cabinet is working great. I got a new HiFi Stereo setup on the other side of the room now. Emotiva TA1 receiver and a pair of Wharfedale Linton Heritage speakers. Music and bourbon! My two favorite things. Life is good. My wife let me set this up for my latest B-Day. She is the best!
