Ok so as I'm driving this morning I'm witnessing some really dangerous drivers. Seem to be a bunch of people who choose to drive a Prius gives them authority to be pricks. So let's hear it,who are the worst drivers out there? Let's hear about it

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:

Last summer I put on a lot of highway miles pulling a trailer, it seemed to me that Kia & Hyundai drivers were the most likely to be involved in a "WTH" moment.

Not necessarily being rude or entitled so much as lacking situational awareness and being generally distracted while driving - merging without looking or signaling, left lane riding while under average speed, not holding a steady speed and distance, etc.

Running from the grind, I'd say. At least in my town they come in and USE stolen cars to commit more crimes.

Just a few weeks ago in the center of town, I was next to someone whom was casually looking at their phone, and coming up to a red light I thought, they ain't gonna stop.

Plowed right through the red didn't even tap the brakes.

Another night coming home from my daughter's hockey, was behind a car and I could clear as day see them browsing tiktok or whatever the fuck it was, light turns green, they ease off, and keep browsing.

Like, what the hell is so damn important that you can't be bothered to just finish your drive and look at it at home.

From personal experience - lately its been new pickup trucks and owners who have zero ability to drive a pickup truck. I am now dealing with my third collision in six months, all of which were pickup truck drivers, all of whom said "oh my god I didnt see you, I thought that resistance was a curb so I kept going."

I used to always be cussing BMW drivers when I lived in Portland. Like you get a different set if rules with those cars. Running reds, just general assholishness

The local Italian grocery store has pollards because there’s a bunch of old people pulling into parking spaces and sometimes they like to keep going. Apparently confusing the brake and gas is something that is perfectly normal once you hit 85.

This weekend while I was trying to load up my groceries, some idiot in an F250 was spending 15 minutes backing into a parking spot right next to me so obviously I can’t do anything until he’s finished.

The truck was too long too wide for the spot and ultimately he kissed the steel post with his bumper, then jumped out of the truck to inspect the damage and looked at me like I somehow was responsible.

Any vehicle operating in Maryland that's registered in Virginia and the operator does not live in Virginia. They 're ripe to do something ridiculous.

My personal gripes are the folks who leave three car lengths at the light because they have to look at their phone. People pulling into the right lane of a double lane road when I'm in the left lane. If you are pulling out the vehicles in the travel lane have the right of way in both lanes not you.

This latest one was someone who was reversing and went up and over the wife's hood. She was laying on the horn while also attempting to reverse and avoid.

Little old man hops out, wife said she immediately launched into "what the heck is wrong with you, I was on my horn!" He said he couldn't hear that well. Later on he also said his vision wasn't what it used to be either. I am unsure of how polite the wife was when she suggested that it might be time for him to hand in the keys.

There is dashcam footage. I don't think I want to review it.

Some guys at work destroyed a Mazda Protege or a 3. They backed a box truck into the front of it and pushed it up hill about 5 feet, it wasn't occupied but how could you not feel it.

If your wife at that moment had gotten BACK onto her horn and asked if he could hear that while standing in front of the car... perfect.

Side note, that sucks though :(

I'm mostly mad because now she has an excuse to drive the Tacoma to work today. I said "um, first thing in the AM you should hound his insurance for a rental." :anonymous::anonymous::anonymous:
