Surprised you have a Tom cat who’s friendly. My aunt and uncle have a Tom who shows up and beats the crap out of their barn cats. One was so badly wounded he actually died. They even trapped “Mean Cat” and relocated him to the far end of the valley a few miles away. He actually made his way back! I hate that damn cat! RIP Lucky

That is so sad :( he needed to be removed! Can’t believe he found his way back. Animals are amazing even the ones we don’t want around.

He is definitely a rare one! He keeps all the mean toms away. He was born on the property and has been close enough to people but just out of reach. He also grew up with the house/property kitties so they all get along well. He is so funny and will actually submit to the other boys I have who are both fixed.

Iv definitely had some mean ones over the years we have to trap and take a few miles down to a rural area when they cause too much of a ruckus.

If you look closely Abbner has a blue tattoo on his belly. We noticed it one day and googled it, found out for sure it’s a tattoo applied after he was neutered.IMG_4107.jpg

    Yep!
Our big guy got a neutering tattoo when he got fixed and got his shots.

Nicodemus loves to show off his vestments too, but no tattoo when he got fixed.....

My wife was feeding a stray cat hanging around our house, then it was living in our garage.
The cat got pregnant and popped out this litter of 5 kittens. We kept one and managed to find homes for the other four.

This is Sasha, the kitten we kept. She's now 5 years old.

You have to put a wide stream or river between you and them. That usually does it.

Come to think of it there is a river and a few ag canals between their house and the far end of the valley by the dairy. Not sure if they’ve relocated him again since.

Last weekend Rugby was standing on his tip toes to look out of the screen door into the back yard, so I gave him a chair to sit on. He stayed there for the next 4 hours watching the birds fly around the pine trees.

    Down to zero.

I've had worse things happen, but I've never been this sad.

I've taken better pictures too, but this one is my favorite.

He purred with his last breath. I miss him so much.

There is nothing harder......no loss that hits like when they have to leave.
But life would be so empty without them that we accept the devastating loss because the alternative is unacceptable.
    Sorry for your loss

Man I can just feel your love for this little guy! I’m so very sorry for you and all who knew and loved him. I’ve been away from mine for a few days now and I’m gonna hug them a little harder because of you.
