Damn... so close and only $100 Perhaps it would be easier to trade the 2nd gen for a 3rd and buy this mount.

Lol! Almost… Unfortunately the big difference is that they still sell the 3rd gen version and the 2nd gen one they do not.

Sorry... I meant "trade your 2nd gen truck, for a 3rd gen truck."

Could always just swap all the interior out for 3rd gen stuff if he really liked the 2nd gen.

Any Tacoma Express from Tacoma to North Settle recently? Bought the ECG tools from @gravyboat. No plan heading south recently so wondering if there is any Tacoma Express heading North from the South side? Thanks.

Not getting any traction in the regional section so will ask y'all:

Can anyone recommend a good and fair auto upholstery shop in the Portland area? Wanna have a 95 Tacoma bench seat restored for under $250 but not sure if that's even possible in this silly dimension I find myself in now.

Not a great picture, but I'm looking for an upholstery shop to re-foam and recover the seat bottom. The back is in decent shape and doesn't really need to be touched.

Never gonna happen. That's $1,000+. Better bet to find nos cover and foam, or decent junkyard bench

I’m looking for a black canopy for my 2014 short bed. Also, a decked drawer system or similar sleeping platform.
    Anything out there?

It's not really that hard to do, but it is a little bit of a pain in the butt. You already have the seat out, that's half the battle.

If you can order new seat covers and seat foam, i suggest giving it a shot.
Un do the bull rings, remove seat cover. More bull rings, remove seat foam. You might have to un bolt a couple things. Get a set of pliers designed for those bull rings.

Never done upholstery, but I'm handy and would be up for it if I could find good replacement fabric. That said, the factory replacement fabric appears to be unobtanium (Oak bench seat bottom 71071-04050-EO. The haggard used one on Ebay is $710 right now.) so hoping a pro shop has a better idea or a big, old paper catalog with something that's close to factory Oak.

All that said, I'm up for the challenge, even just to spite our throw-away culture. Seems like the dialog here in the 1st gen forum is just "get new seats". I'd rather find a way to fix the one I've got if anyone can point me to a good shop in town.

    Thanks all for posting!

You end up taking the deep dive and diy you should make a thread on it.

I’d like to refresh the foam in my 60/40 bench one of these summers.
