Sorry I don't have a Nalgene to try. I measured the diameter of the cup holder and it was ~3" at the base & about 3.25" at the top. I think Nalgenes are ~3.5" so not likely to work. Wouldn't hurt to hit Scott up on his Etsy page & see if he could accommodate your needs.

I used doubled sided tape in the empty spot next to the cup holder, below the shifter, easy access

 

The problem is the slot is tapered, so if there was no wall at all edge to edge is 3.85" and it tapers down to the bottom to 3.2".

you know, I find the 6th gen sort of ugly, and that seems to be the toyota way even generations are kind of ugly, and odd are cooler looking, though im not against one just need something that fits the kids getting bigger and their friends, and the dog

but in a dream world likely a 5th gen TRD PRO, in lunar rock if my wife has her choice. now I'm also not opposed to a newer land cruiser 1958 if the prices come down a bit, or even a Lexus GX. not the first time my kids have outgrown a prior toyota, my 1990 Access cab they both out grew

 

Yeah that all basically sums up my thoughts as well. We are shopping for a new vehicle for the wife too, we’ll make a purchase some time this year. Initially she wanted the new LC. That’s too expensive for what you get. The new GX is just too expensive period and the new 4Runner isn’t very appealing especially with the new motor.

We’re probably going to wind up getting a lightly used GX 460.

 

yeah maybe in the fall someone will have already traded in an LC, or a used GX. So now pulled the "beater" out. and by beater I mean my 09 Hyundai Santa Fe, its actually really nice, AWD, leather and heated seats which my Tacoma cloth and no heated seats.

 

Yeah, not sure what's going on. Also not sure how excited I should be considering how much adjustment is needed. Regardless, I'm up for it.
I think the A-pillar location looks better than my FlexPod over the steering column.
You got any other SC supporting mods planned? Interested to know what you have in mind.

A lot of talk about 3D prints in here, I was able to get my fuel door fixed with a 3D printed bracket this week. Not going to hold up in a tornado, but better than paying $50 for a whole new door and bracket assembly.



Also working on a lift for my topper for a camper setup.

 

Another 5k miles, another oil change. Greased the u-joints as well
