@bucktales Bears is one thing I don't have to worry about. It appears the raccoons have found us, but no bear in these parts.

 

We have a lot of bears here. We border large tracts of open space land and woods. More of a pass thru for them. Learn to live with them i guess.
It's still unnerving to round a corner and have one 20 feet away.
We have plenty of other toothy critters as well, Bobcats,Fox,Yotes and Racoons.

I ask because I know corn starch is sometimes used to polish aluminum aircraft and wonder if you are using it as polish

 

Nope. Baking soda. If I use CA on a nick, I use it to instant harden it. It works like CA accelerator
