    I’m guessing the designation is because of the availability of the color into the years where right side touch sense was available. Just a description update that just wasn’t helpful in your case. I did it too, but don’t remember the part number. I’m sure I still have the basic handle…

    I don’t get it. Ordered the exact door handle from the first post and received a non-smart key handle. But the right part number is on the box. That’s a bummer. Seems there is no delineation between smart handle and regular handle since they are all interchangeable??

    No, something is wrong… contact your seller. The parts are distinctly different.
    Drivers side door for your truck is the same item you will use on passenger (It’s just flipped over).
    You can check by looking it up at any of the online parts stores.

    Yeah I checked other online parts stores and it's definitely the right part number. We'll see what the dealer says tomorrow

    Yeah make sure you include your VIN when you order these lol. I didn't the first time so I was sent a base model SR5 handle :D Oops!
