Sales would go up even more if they brought over the diesel. That number alone though is pretty insane for sales.

Wasn't there a stop sale for the rear brakes during this time? Aren't some here waiting for theirs?

Yes and Yes, which makes that a pretty respectable number.

Bring over the diesel and put it in the LC 300. For not giving customers what they want outside of what you can find at any given dealer Toyota sells a lot of vehicles. Tacoma up 177% GX up 139% what waa that March or 1st quater? What ever it is, those numbers sound tariff proof.

Those numbers are wrong. Just ask the guy that drove by his dealer and they had a lot on their lot

    Tacomas aren’t selling.

Honda sales are way up too. Ford Maverick and Mach-E sales are way up, both of which are made in Mexico. Web traffic on Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book is up 30% from a year ago. People are rushing to get cars ahead of the tariffs. Even cars made here are expected to have price increases as lots of the parts are from Mexico.

Despite some very serious competition from Ford/GM/Nissan, this was the second best March sales number for Tacoma ever. That might be shocking to some, b/c so many were falsely led to believe that sales were tanking.

Gen4 is actually really good, and the scoreboard shows a blowout. No changes are required, besides the weak YouTube narratives.

Last week I saw a truck load of Grenadiers, I don't think that's telling of anything. Are those imported in with BMW?

If Toyota was still selling 3G exclusively last month the numbers would still be as good. I can't recall a bad month for the 3G.

March was strong for several makes and models. In addition to the tariff related speculation, some vehicles have had high inventory and incentives that sparked buying.

Every time I've looked since the last summer ramp up, Tacoma sales have been strong.

The tariffs certainly spurred people on the fence. Reaction to the announcement today should be fascinating.

Good thing Toyota makes a lot of popular vehicles in America.

That is a good frontier number considering it is the longest since refresh.

Almost all car companies are reporting sales increases for March higher than last year, the tariff purchase panic is a thing.

A few years ago when Tacoma's were selling as they were unloading from the trucks just finding one was difficult.
The other day I drove by the dealer and the lot was literally full, must have been over 100 on the lot.

I wonder, for the ones currently on the lot, will they increase in price by 25% tomorrow?
