What's funny, is my memory of growing up there was how gloomy and cloudy it was which made the winters long. Not necessarily cold but took forever for it spring to feel like it hit. I'm spoiled here, so much sunshine and already kissed 80 degrees last week. The haboobs are a bit to get used to I'll admit. Having one last cold front here this week before we roll into the good stuff.

 

I can tell you the instructions for welding their bumper are really well stated, with visuals.

I would assume the same if you've gotta cut something up.

Yup, I put them together last weekend...the interlocking pieces made it super easy rather than having to deal with a bunch of hardware. I assembled 2 of them and reorganized a good bit of all our shit that was sitting on the floor up onto the racks. Rebecca was with a friend of hers that was visiting so I put Sofia in front of the TV and took River in the garage with me. Took about an hour and a half all in all and I had River screaming at me the entire time to be picked up, was good fun bonding time.

 

I know that feeling - dude being a stay at home, the attachment is unreal

 

It got to the point where I was giving him random shit from the garage to play with to try and distract him for just a few minutes at a time, after he disassembled a fishing pole and started whacking the side of the truck with it I gave up and took him in

 

I'll have to do that with Theo

Give him the welder and have him go at it

 

I was a stay at home when my child was a baby, and now she gets separation anxiety every time I go just in the garage to work on the truck
She just screams at the door, poor thing

 

I was gonna say, your garage is probably not the place to be giving toddlers random stuff to play with lol. All my tools and power stuff are still boxed up
