New to TW Forum....Lord Help Me!!!

Hey there folks! After years of saying "I'm gonna get me one of those Tacomas", I finally did.

I'm currently in my 4th T4R as my daily driver and really do love them, especially this one, but it was time. Picked up a '23 SR5 LR Trail with 18.5k on the clock last weekend at a local Chevy dealer and am super stoked. I've already ordered tails, heads, 3rd brake, license, and the mirror sequential's all from Morimoto, Weather Tech liners front only, black tail gate inlays, and some other little stuff. The wife is gonna kill me!!!!!

Looking forward to the Taco life.

I know its personal preference but I hands down think it looks much better without....

The SR5 package does not include fog lights?

 

The Trail Editions don't come with fog lights at all, something to do with the lift that we have from the factory makes the fog lights not DOT compliant. That's why you see some TRD Pro editions having the "half" fog lights from rigid industries. I don't know why they didn't just put those on the trail edition as well.

Yeah, I went back and forth on it. Nice and clean without but maybe, idk.

I'm going to pull the Baja's out of the Runner and put them in the Taco. I saw a nice detailed thread on here somewhere about fog install in non-fog Taco's.

Yeah there is a very detailed way to make them hook up and it look like it came from the factory, but for me that's way too much effort for fog lights. I'm just going to hook mine up to my switch panel or run a switch into one of the blank slots on mine to save time.
