Update on 3.4 kits. Apparently, the OEM engine mount brackets for the 3.4 V6 motors are on national backorder according to Toyota - my most recent order was cancelled by my back east Toyota parts distributor. So as of now, unless customers start sending in their core brackets back to me after they swap their mounts out to the Solid Offroad mounts, I don't have any way to build 3.4 V6 kits. I am doing everything I can to find or develop an alternate solution but without these OEM brackets I cannot build 3.4 kits right now. I am not aware of any aftermarket OEM style manufacturer that makes these stamped steel engine mount brackets.

If anyone has a lead on any new or used OEM stamped steel 3.4 motor mount engine block brackets that would be for sale, let me know. $50 per good set + shipping costs.

Sorry I wish I could send you my cast ones but I'm sure they're no good to you. Got a ton of the damn things from core engines

I feel that. Almost every set I come across are cast. Toyota's castings are technically "ductile iron" and you can weld to them but its not a risk I'm willing to take for customers parts.

Damn, this is a bummer. I'm on a long term project of rebuilding my 3.4 and new motor mounts were on my wishlist. I've been eyeballin your mounts for sometime now but next to a new rebuilt engine n more, the upgraded mounts aren't in the budget for now.
These are what I currently have off of my '02 along with the trans mount but now looks like I'm gonna have to just put these back in :(

I'm slowly finding them here and there, this dealer or that dealer. I'm just not seeing over 5% of customers sending there cores back in for the rebate. I talked to a guy 2 weeks ago that installed his mounts within a few days of receiving them and immediately threw the OE cores out in the trash even though the rebate instructions are the first thing you open in the box with the Solid Offroad sticker taped to the instructions

If you want to send me your core motor mount brackets, I'll knock off $75 (50 for the cores and 25 for shipping) so $370 out the door(motor mounts only). Since you have time due to the rebuild might work out for you let me know.

Thanks for the response. I'll definitely let you know when I'm ready for that. I may want to get the transmission mount as well. My only problem is all my money has been going into the new child(Tundra) and the Taco has been in the back burner for a while :(

You can lead a horse to water…

Are there certain years that had the stamped brackets vs cast? I have a “project motor” in storage that may have the old mounts on it, I’ll have to look.

Pretty much all after 98 should be stamped steel.

This^^^ my 98’s were cast. A donor engine I got out of a 99 (or 00) had steel.

I’ve got a stamped set of you would want to send me a shipping label @Bonzen - they’re out of an 01 I am using a donor engine from.

Most of the later years. 00-04 for sure. Some late 90s had cast some steel. Its all over the place. the 4Runners seem to be more oddball with the mix & match too. But they are easy to identify, the cast ones are thick and rough looking.
