    Well,
Long story short I was stuck in a mud hole. I had to get pulled out which took some time. Well there was some damage but minimal. I broke my right rear tail light. Which BTW if anyone knows where to get one for cheap please let me know. But aside from that, when I was finally out I went to survey the damage. I looked underneath the front of the truck and noticed what looked to be a big piece of plastic or aluminum hanging down under the truck. It was right under where the engine is and behind the factory skid plate. I have been trying to figure out what piece this is called. I do not have it anymore since it fell off on the ride back. Any help is appreciated.

Im pretty sure that is the second skid plate... You have a front big one and then a front small one that is directly behind it based off the picture that is what it looks like to me

    Cool,
Is there anywhere in particular to buy just the second skid plate? Or a better alternative?

Before you buy another one you should make sure the bolts that were holding it on didn't get broken off in the nuts or something, inhibiting your ability of bolting another one on. Time for some cleaning and further investigation...

Well, A quick look shows some rusting on the current skid plate where it bolts on. Truck is clean now.

my advice would be to invest in aftermarket like allpro of budbuilt skid plates, they are heavier duty than stock skids and you shouldnt run into this problem again..... also stay out of the mud if you can, having a skid plate torn off will be the least of your worries if you keep doing it
