I haven’t had issues with the OEM pro foxes on either truck. They still look new.

I second this. Why not just some TRD pro takeoffs? and they're an internal bypass shock.

Ah okay lol. I don't know if the pro shocks would hold up to all the weight he has nowadays

Accutune got back to me and let me know to pick whatever fits my budget, as after they put their custom valving in for my setup, there will be next to no difference between the Foxes and the Kings with just a basic smoothie 2.5 RR shock. The only point in Foxes favor is slightly better seals, but for the 2.5s they are basically the same construction and corrosion resistance. Considering Kings are $500 cheaper all said and done... Probably going to do that. They both have the same manufacturer service intervals too.

I guess the next question will be, who would be interested in buying my Deaver H70s (62" leaf packs) and Fox 2.0 x 14 smooth body RR shocks when I get the new stuff in? I'll list them when I get them off, and it'll be a great deal. I got the deavers before the price hike, so they'll be priced based on that, not the new price, and the Foxes were a smoking deal, so.... Call it paying it forward, I don't like to get screwed, so I won't try to rip anyone off.

The H70s are good for someone who's not looking to tow or carry a ton of weight often. For me they were okay but since we are going to be trailering the 350z when it's track ready, I need the HD packs. A lot of LT kits on the market run the H70s, so hopefully someone will need them.

If any friends or friends of friends want first dibs, let me know here or via text and I'll save them for you.

Just know it'll probably be this Summer till I get it done, unless something comes up and we have to hold off buying anything.

Sadly, not gonna happen, I need a high clearance rear too, but the coastal one is pretty minimal so maybe diet lite?

there ya go! the hitch works as a bumper then lol

i will say towing with with a high clearance rear was always a pain haha. no issues with it but maaan needing a 4in or 6in drop was annoying af! plus i couldnt use the stupid uhual trailers and let them hook it up...

so id always ask yo do you have another drop hitch thats bigger then a 6in? i think i saw one up there! oh ill go check! as they leave id lift the trailer onto the ball then they come back and go oh its on alright! how did you do that? oh i just stood in the bed and the rear squatted enough to let it go on....

not so sure i can do that anymore... last time i used one they wouldnt let me touch it when hooking it up!

yup ive seen it before. only difference is the angled bit on the back mine was well square ish shape. its just how high up the hitch then goes to that makes it a pain in the but

Random ADHD thought of the day: I wonder how hard it would be to make some +Caster LCAs. It would solve my immediate issue of still rubbing my cab mounts in reverse and would improve my steering angle since I run so much caster.

I would just have to cut and reweld the LBJ forward like .75", or use an existing LCA for measurements and then draw up a plate metal design in Fusion, send it off to be cut, and then weld them up with new cups like some of the LT lowers on the market. Just looking online the extra caster LCAs were like 1800 for an OEM length LCA so it's like, why? I don't think steel is that hard to come by yet....

I guess I'm just trying to overengineer a solution. I think all the caster I have is causing my tires to wear weird since the wheels angle so much when I turn changing the contact patch from center to the edge of the tire. Really if I just wanted to solve the immediate issue of rubbing, I just need to recut my cab mount a little more. The driver's side one after looking was cut less than the passenger side one was, so just redoing that one would probably fix the rubbing. I don't notice on the passenger side. Doesn't fix the steering angle, but I think I can get away with removing the wheel spacers and then running a little less caster and I'd still clear these 295s.

Just hard finding the motivation to work on anything.
