And with the air let out of the shocks the JLTV looks like a solid prerunner. They advertise 20 inches of travel.

Pretty stiff, the kind I have anyway. I dunno if you're looking for a runner or just a hiker. I have the mountain extremes, an un insulated set and some 400g, the 1000s are way too hot even in the ded of winter

sportsman's has them or if you know someone with a guide license, first responder or military they can get on Guidefitter for a good discount

This was a whole train full of equipment, headed to or maybe from Fort Carson. That's a lot of metal.

i get so warm I can usually get away with the uninsulated ones even in winter. when i hike to a spot to wait for elk and am gonna chill for a while put on fresh wool socks and thats usually enough to stay warmish lol

Granted it's a Prerunner, but even DC's are dropping in price here

8300 for a 260k mile 2wd is still nuts to me but yeah, seems the used 1st gen bubble is deflating a bit finally

It's the DC part that keeps the price up there

Normally I used to see them at about $10k average especially heading out East

This truck is where we got your 4R

And for an extra $1,500 and some easy labor you can have a v6 manual 4x4 4 door.

I used to wear the Bridger shoes they make. Good everyday shoe thing. And kept a set of mountain extremes for bad weather or serious hiking stuff. Great combo.

the bridger looks like a great all rounder for hiking and getting into light snow. Ill have to check sportsmans like Jaxon suggested to see about trying some on next time Im in that area.

i always appreciate good recommendations when it comes to outdoors gear, there is way too much stuff and a lot of it isnt worth buying lol

Hm might just be the area then being cheaper than most, when I got the 4R it was probably considered under value in most other CA areas where the 5spd 4x4 ones were going for crazy money.

This is a cool clip, talk about a steady rising empire abruptly hitting a wall followed by a meteoric downfall starting right at the 2005 mark. They really should have bought out Netflix when Netflix gave them the chance early on.

I didn't know they still made Ho-Hos... So naturally I have a box of them at my desk. Side effects of being back on ADHD meds is I don't want any of them :(
