My life has been over wheming busy n stressed. sorry for not keeping up on post with you guys. got my family heirloom rack scored today. ughh,192 B&C Gross. blew my mind. so its a mid 180’s buck from VA. i had no idea.the mass was the kicker. having it remounted by a bud of mine.

Personally I think that could have used a few more years.. but what can I say, I only shoot bucks that put me in the top 5% of the state I’m hunting in

LMAO thats funny. we got a guy on our lease that says that about every buck we shoot. weve tryed to explain to him our area isnt in Canada. a 4 1/2 yr buck in 130” is a good buck in our area.

Serious note, how are you feeling sir? Not asking for details, I kinda got lost for awhile but I think people were wishing you well so i hope you are feeling better!

 

Feeling much better now, I had a kidney stone that wouldn’t pass on its own. A week ago Monday they went in and blasted it with a laser and removed it. The ureter wall was weakened so they inserted a stent which has to be removed this coming Monday. Other than that, all is good. Thanks for the concern.

 

Ahh well that doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun but glad to hear you are on the mend!

I may go one more time but its starting to green up really fast here and the ticks are hangry.. I'm off for the next 3 days butt we're supposed to get like four hunnert inches of rain so I'm thinking mucho sleeps are in order.

 

I’m done shed hunting, ended up with 25, might find a few while mushroom hunting or when I’m cutting honeysuckle. I’ve also started looking for Indian artifacts again.

 

in all likelihood you’ll find a deer handle knife from like the 1500s, only makes sense.. Indian artifact plus a shed..

 

Dats a lotta rains.. mucho sleeps always good, between my day/night work schedule and smallish kiddos I long for more sleeps lol
