My dad just sent me the family tree that my grandmother spent years putting together, goes back to the 1600s which is pretty cool. Although some of the first names are uh...interesting. There's an Enoch, Amaziah, Deliverance, Moses, Minerva...

someone actually named their kid Deliverance, what the hell

People with safe rooms survived the storm. Everything around them was destroyed. A car landed on top of this one.

Living Twister movie in real life.

I think sometimes it's not exactly a lack of curiosity, but more a belief that there is a single "correct" way of doing something, and a mind that wants to learn an exact sequence of steps rather than navigate guidelines to make decisions.

Like, there was a thread recently asking for the "definitive" answer to the question of what leaf springs to get. This person claimed to have read up a bunch but was dissatisfied that the question didn't have a single, final, correct answer yet.

I get that frustration, I often get stuck when I'm not confident something's right, but like... there are uncontrollable variables and at some point you have to accept that and figure out how to deal with whatever happens.
