Morning crew, we got some new machines in yesterday, all I can say is what ever they were they were high dollar. I hate moving crap that's top heavy and really expensive.
The little Hitachi forklift was enough to move the 6 smaller units, but the big one in the nose? Well I had to get a bigger lift and it still couldn't lift it . I was able to get it onto the dock, in a little bit the guy showed up with a bigger lift, then the even bigger lift shows up for the biggest machine.
I'm assuming they are something for the extruder lines in the other building that was destroyed by the river flood.
Hope everyone has a great day and be careful today.

It is actually a better than average job from the fit and finish standpoint.

I would rather have a cab with a windshield for winter work though -- but not that cab. ;)

Good morning shop crew! I’ve been working in the yard raking leaves and picking up blowdown. It’s crazy how thick the leaves are on the ground I don’t know if it was our freak snow storm or what caused it but it’s worse than normal. My first truck load I hauled to the dump was 480 pounds o_O

I used to haul my leaves and blowdown over to my neighbors as he always had brush burn piles he would gather up throughout the winter. I would give him a hand when it came time to light them off. Unfortunately, he died last year and the other family members that have started managing the property weren’t too keen on me doing that this year. They haven’t made any burn piles and really aren’t keeping the field roads cleared over there so I’m not sure what they have planned for the acreage.

Time to get to work. Have a great Friday!

I’ve come across this so many times. One person dies and neighborhood norms become all out of whack, sometimes businesses close down. It really affects a lot of people. The depth of the relationship doesn’t matter, the loss is felt.

Kinda makes me appreciate when things don’t change.

I hope you’re able to easily adapt.

I probably should go clean off the camera lenses because they're filthy.

But I really don't feel like roofing today.

Seems like you need a drone with a lens cloth and a spray bottle.

We have restrictions because of our proximity to the airport.

But it's only illegal if you get caught.
