Either would be a better choice than what’s on the ballot

Good morning guys :hattip: Have a great Wednesday!

It's a babysitting day here. The girls told their mom and dad they want to go to the park with Gypsy and Gunner (our grandparent names) so guess what’s on the agenda for today.

Yesterday was a good day in the yard. I hauled 480 pounds of blowdown and leaves to the landfill. More loads to come in the next couple of weeks. I usually haul them over onto my neighbor's property and add it to his burn pile but he died last year and the other family members that are managing the property weren’t too keen on that idea when I asked.

Time to turn to, have a awesome day!

Good evening everybody, I hope it was a great Thursday for all of you.

I was in the yard early this morning working on the leaves. I can’t believe how deep they are in the front yard this year. I don’t know if it was the snow or what but there is a bunch on the ground! I stopped at lunchtime because I had an eye doctor appointment at 1:00. I got dilated so I wasn’t doing anything this afternoon.

I made very little money raking leaves as a kid.
Everyone on my street was old, retired or dead - and cheap!

I deal with leaves with the mower, I ain't rakin' nothin'.

I used to mow them up too but the oak leaves down here take so long to decompose they just built up and killed off the grass. I ended up getting the bagger attachment for my mower but with all the sand and leaves it just eats up my blades and wears a hole in the mower deck right behind the discharge :frusty:

I would buy a tow behind yard vac but I’m afraid it would just wear down the impeller on it too.

If you have a good mulching blade- just hit it in two directions to chop 'em up.
