Whistle After Removing Valance 2025 Limited 4x4

Removed the hideously large bumper valance and now there is a super annoying whistle from appx. 35 to 45 mph. Driving me nuts! Almost bad enough to put that ugly sucker back on the truck. Anyone tried trimming it down or have any suggestions? (Besides accelerating through the 'whistle zone'. ;-))

Or post 197 to save some money. I used plugs from Ace Hardware. They snap right in. Find them in the bulk bins. P/N 58138-D. When I removed and re-installed the air dam bolts I used 1/4" rubber flat washers to help keep the bolts from loosening.

Problem solved!

 

Truck looks so much better without it. I wonder what the loss is on mpg?

 

Tough to say for sure because I added a bed cover at the same time and added larger tires. I'm averaging just over 19 mpg which is better than I expected, so I'm satisfied.

Side Note. TFL Guys did mpg tests without spoiler and after adding a bed cover. Not certain, but I believe the spoiler removal cost about 0.8 mpg and the bed cover added about 1.5 mpg. Again, don't quote me on that, but I think I'm purdy close.
