My 5 year daughter asked me last night if I knew who Taylor Swift was, need to figure out how I should nip this in the bud early

 

That's tough man, she's still at an age where she likes you... so you can't tell her you like Taylor Swift to dissuade her. Maybe redirect... see if she likes Abba?

 

Haven't even told Stephanie yet - this morning I heard the usual "Daaaaaaad! Daaaaaaaaaad!" And then it went quiet.

I slooowly start getting up until I hear a faint "dad? Dad?" coming from the hallway...the fuck?

He unlocked the little gate and he knows how to escape his toddler bed

 

Yup, now you get to wake up in the middle of the night with a heart attack every time they creep up on you in your sleep

 

I ain't ready for that shit

 

time to break out that box of cassettes with all the good tunes right /j

 

And the thing is, he KNEW he wasn't supposed to be out

He NEVER ever walks down the hallway, it's always running and at full speed

But this morning he was walking super slow towards the kitchen when I walked out to catch him

 

They learn that at school. I remember being aware of popular hits when I was in kindergarten at around 5 years old.

 

I've been sitting on hold waiting for Bank of America to pick up for a solid hour.

 

I've been dealing with the same but on a health insurance line. I don't have the patience, and how is it 2025 and you can't modify your coverage online!?

 

It's even more surprising when I hear about people not being able to modify their coverage, or easily add/delete a vehicle from their auto insurance via an app.

 

The local branch bank is so inefficient, I need to make an appointment with an officer to make a simple IRA deposit. A teller can't handle the transaction. Now customer service is over an hour wait by phone.

 

Its nuts. They want you to use the web portal or app for everything else but when you want to modify, if if its something that will make them more money, nope.

 

I left BofA a long time ago, never had a good experience with them.

 

I've never had that issue with Liberty Mutual. I don't even call the company anymore. I can do it all on my phone or computer in 15 minutes.

Been doing that for years with USAA

So when insurance threads come up and such information comes out it's like damn...what backwards ass shit are you using

 

I've been with them for 29 years. They were good back when they were NCNB based out of Charlotte NC.

 

Had them for a bit in late 90s for about 5 years, that was plenty.

 

Well I see Toyota and Lexus had a good Q1 2025 -- sales are up at Toyota and Lexus.
