    Went ahead and plasti-dipped my front grill insert over the weekend, along with the chrome emblem.

    I'm not sure why the grill comes gray on the SWB, it's the only gray thing on the truck. End result:

    I am currently working on a way to replace the tire with one made entirely of plasti-dip. It will be the ultimate tire mod. I will PM you the minute I finish with pics and installation instructions....

    A word of caution OP, ensure you allow for complete drying and curing time. Due to the many successive layers of PD, the drying time is compounded. A friend of mine tried this mod and did not allow for complete cure. As I followed behind on the test run, well lets just say my windshield got PD tinted. It was kind of in clumps but as we thought about it, sprayed on thin enough it just may work as cheep window tint. I don't want to hijack the thread so still looking forward to seeing your results.
