Why don't you start off with a budget and then find things that fit into that category.

Can't handle these threads anymore. I'm going to have to enact a...

    THREAD EMBARGO

To the OP, you never give even half the information we need to even begin to give you a response that could help you.

    This is your posting style...
    I want speakers....help?

No information, no help. How could we ever give you an accurate or even relevant suggestion?

This is how you SHOULD do it
Hey guys, I'm looking to install a new system in my Tacoma. I typically listen fairly loud and the stock speakers won't cut it anymore. They distort on bass notes and the clarity just isn't there. I'd like to spend under $1000 out the door and I have no install skills. What would you recommend?

    Now I know...
    • You listen fairly loud
    • You like your bass higher.
    • Your budget
    • You'll need a shop to install.

From there that REALLY narrows things down. It defines the whole scope of your RFP (request for proposal) and we can begin to help you. In case it wasn't clarified, you need to do this so we can better help YOU! :)

Until you complete such actions I'm enacting a thread embargo. No one help this man till he helps us help him.

there is alot more out there than rainbow. i have germaniums hooked up in truck now and they are awesome, but i am gonna try some hybrid technologies. they are running a 20% sale right now and the prices/ quality is on par with rainbow. there is also morel, hertz, arc audio, zapco, dynaudio and the list can go. you should go down to shops and listen to as much speakers as you can. most times speakers on the board sound different installed.

since you are part of hca you should pick up the shallow type r with the 1000.1 pdx and the id CTX65CS with the rf t400-2. all you would need is a box and that system should sound pretty good in your truck. you would be saving yourself a lot of money plus both guys selling the stuff is good guys that take care of their gear.
