Just completed this last month - I ordered the Marlin Crawler blue MCTM-523 - fits and feels great.
Now is the time to take care of steering rack bushings while you have all that space available!

Mine was leaking as well - a "shop" had installed the rear main prior.

We found the problem. The inner lip on the bottom of the seal is rolled over.

I don’t see any leaking around the RMS housing or oil pan, I’m kind of leaning towards not touching the pan and RMS housing and just throwing in a new RMS.

I’m going to also replace the input shaft seal on the transmission while it out, seems like good insurance.

I just ordered that piece from Marlin Crawler, thanks for the info.

I replaced these steering rack bushings with a total chaos kit a few months back when I had the rack rebuilt. Slowly getting this thing back together.

Just to close this thread out here is the final update.

I replaced the RMS, input Shaft seal, transfer shifter bushing , and picked up a refurbished Toyota starter. I gave the oil pan, transmission brace, and all the skid plates a fresh coat of paint.

I needed some help getting the transmission to line up, And once my cousin came over to help it only took about 10 minutes to get it to line up with the engine block.

The car fired up today no problems, no leaks. Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions.
