I'm not sure I see why this is "Width-adjustable to fit a variety of setups"? Wouldn't the factory rails this bolts to be the same width in all setups?

Any reason the "Molle-style mounting panels all around" aren't actual MOLLE? Are these at least some even multiple of MOLLE so that existing MOLLE pouches will fit correctly?

If you have the factory tonneau cover, is there a way to get items into/out of this without fully removing the tonneau cover (including removing the bolt that holds it on)?

The product is designed and based on the Tacoma and Tundra beds. With that it will also fit Gladiators, and Frontiers with the accessory/trail rail systems. All of the truck beds are varying widths from 56” - 63”.

The Molle design is the same one we run on all our Molle panels which allow for pouches and Molle/PALS bags to strap and mount to them.

As of right now it is a bolt on product. We are looking into and will be working on an “add on” style slide system. Which will help allow access on a factory cover, when the basket is mounted against the bulkhead like pictured in our original post.

Picture of our 4Runner Complete Molle Setup which runs the same design as the basket.

Any chance you’ve checked for clearance on mounting with a camper shell? Only asking because AllPro makes a similar setup(https://www.polyperformance.com/all-pro-tacoma-internal-bed-rack-kits) and the basket will not mount to the rails with a camper shell installed(SnugTop Rebel). The camper shell mounts to the side bed rails(sits low) and blocks the mounting plates for the AllPro setup, hoping you’ve addressed this issue so those of us with camper shells can utilize the product too.

Most toppers do not block access or require relocation of the factory accessory rail. When the rail stays in place this basket will still allow you to be able to mount it. As it does not sit any higher than the top of the accessory rail.

The shell mounts to the same rail as the basket, the interference will not allow the basket to mount flush unless it is able to clear the camper shell mounts(attached photo to show the mounts on Leer/Snugtop). Id assume the mounts will not clear the basket lip, but was hoping someone makes a “drop bracket” to mount below those pesky shell mounts.

Our basket would mount up just fine to that setup you shared, seeing as the factory accessory rail is still accessible. And your still using the factory mounting cleats in that picture.

The only issue I see is the raised deck in your bed. Assuming a drawer system of some kind. That’s the only part that would cause an issue with fitment from my perspective.

If I’m seeing your pics correctly I could actually mounts this at the end of the bed (tail gate end)as long as I have access to the factory bed rail to attach all 6 bolts? I ask because my spare tire is in the bed at the front and I’m not sure if this would fit above the tire. I also have much more room at the tail end of the bed with how my Lomax cover fits.

Yes that’s correct. As long as you have access to the factory accessory rail, this will bolt right up. It can mount any where along the rail where you have room.

For those who asked for a more “enclosed” version. I have a new lid I’m making. This was a quick version to test fit an idea. I will have a locking, hinged lid finished up next week.

Let me know your thoughts. As well as which style you prefer. Molle cutouts or the more “enclosed style”.

Looks great. I had almost jumped on the other one linked above, but I like the depth of this one much better so glad I didn't. Do you know what the final dimensions will be yet? Wondering if some containers I use will fit.

Liking this and I want one. I like the molle cutout design, Less weight. I live in Alaska and I know shipping is a bitch, but I still want one, somehow.

Second what mtmedic said. I like the molle cut basket as well. Anything I would put in there would be too big to fall out of the holes. Really like the design and idea, but shipping up here would be a bear lol

I’ve had good luck with Carlile freight forwarding. I keep forgetting that is what I used to get my rear bumper shipped up. You have the product shipped to their office on the port in Seattle and then pick it up at the port in ANC. It was like 50-70 bucks for the bumper I think. Should be less for these baskets since they are smaller and lighter. Thanks for the suggestion/reminder! We should look into this once the product is released
