Be careful !!!!

 

The Tornado that I got a pic of was rated at a F1 and was on the ground for 29.miles

 

Just be careful. I’d start at the far end and chunk it off a little at a time. It may try to stand up on you…but if you start at the butt just be careful that it doesn’t kick backwards once free from the stump. I’ve had my foot buried by a tree half that size when it lunged back and rolled to the side. Fortunately I was able to chunk a section out to unbury my foot. Nothing broken but it hurt and so did my pride.

I need to learn to stay out of the general repair forums here. I seem to take the troll bait and it just gets me riled up. So who’s turn is it to watch me and keep me out of trouble?

 

Ŕain... 8 days in a row. Over 10" Several tornados and severe storms in the area. Flash floods.. Sump pump running non stop. Cookie wants outside in the mud

I’ve been a member on TW since 2013 and never had to ignore a member until today.

 

Well the “ widow maker “ is down and safe. It’s a shame, there’s some nice lumber there. I’ll cut and split some for firewood, but the rest will sit and rot. I have had 3 big red oaks fall and just clean them up, nobody wants it for firewood or lumber, just don’t get it.

 

If I lived closer I’d be there in a heartbeat. Glad it went well

Sorry Paul. But honestly it’s not you. There are a few guys that in my opinion live to be passive aggressive jerks on TW. The way I figure if someone wants advice or just reassurance about something that I might have some knowledge or a measure of wisdom about, then I’m going to chime in even if I have to work like crazy to ignore them when they give their 2 cents worth.

 

I know, y’all are going to be looking at housing prices down here
