Delicious!! But they really don’t taste like anything else. I don’t know how to answer that actually. We normally cook them with a ham hock or country style ribs for seasoning.

 

They lost power and had some outdoor furniture cushions blown away

 

I spotted these today at the farm stand and tried them out of curiosity. And it turns out they are actually pretty darn good! But I like all these things.
And they didn’t mess them up like a lot of bbq places by adding sugar.

 

You need a southern food tour. Lots of things are seasoned with pork down here.

Several months ago, I put someone on ignore because I got tired of his constant dumbassery. A couple of weeks ago, he got permabanned because the mods finally tired of the nearly daily complaints.

 

I really don’t wish anyone to be banned but I really do see it in that members future.

 

Last trip the old percolator gave up the ghost. Found a very nice set at Costco today. Quality unit and makes a great cup of coffee.

 

Oh, what the hell. Why not? He won’t mind.

 

One wheel drive and the remains of the huge Northern Wisconsin/UP ice storm made for some sketchy moments this weekend. I didn’t expect it to still be this bad. Trees down everywhere.
75 miles south and there wasn’t any snow to be seen.

They got hit with the ice storm, so much ice they closed the Mackinac Bridge when it started to melt, falling ice chunks an inch thick

 

That’s why I rarely give up my secrets.
You do something a hundred times and it works and you get an arguments saying your wrong.
