Guys, I want a good front bumper to mount a winch. Anyone got a set-up I could get a few ideas from. My main goal is a clean factory look. Below is my build. Thanks in advance

Have you heard of AMI? They make what seems like a good winch bumper for our trucks

You have few options, something prefab = $$$$$, plate(s) bumper but some people dont like the angles plus the weight. Tube bumpers are easier to make but are dated. In the photo is a Flatland bumper kit on my 96.

I dont know of any off the shelf winch bumpers that will retain any sort of factory look. Theres just not a lot of space to hide a winch, especially on a 95-97. Plate options such as the one above are probably the cleanest.
I am partial to the Trail gear rock defense low profile tube bumpers myself though

Seen some people manage a hidden front hitch receiver in the factory bumper, which could be used with a removable hitch-mount winch plate

If a clean factory look is your main priority, a hidden mount would be the way to go. I think this might be the only ready made one available for the 1st gen: https://www.ampdupllc.com/winch-mounts

This is my hidden mount, it's been great.

It's from Amped Up as linked in the prior post. Really nice especially for the money. I used a controller relocation kit from Vice Design, otherwise just a bolt up deal. My truck is a 2000 short cab and I try to keep additional weight to a minimum, but we solo enough to warrant a winch and I didn't want to hang too much weight all the way in the front. Maybe 100lbs for everything? Not too much.

I like that bumper. Any idea how much it weighs?
