I just change from 265/70R17 to 285/70R17 Toyo AT3 with SEMA TRD 4 runner Wheels... as many people here the offset of the wheel help to avoid problem, jus had to remove the mud Flap...

Taco looks good! What's the offset of your wheels? Did you have to do a cmc or any trimming?

No trimming, no Cutting, the offset of the TRD Sema is 4mm and is 17X7 ... I just had to remove the mud flap...

+4 offset. Okay thanks. I'll be running -12 offset wheels. Hopefully I wont have to do a cmc and just some trimming.

I can't say for sure but I think you may want to look a little deeper into your off set - from what I understand from everything I have read and researched 0 offset may be the sweet spot or a little more positive offset may even be better. The video below gives a good example of the clearance to the body mount between a wheel with a +15 offset vs a -12 offset.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAYGdcKSA3o

EDIT: the reason I can't say for sure, at least from personal experience is because even though I am running 285/75R16 on DX4 wheels with a +10 offset I went ahead and did a CMC and viper cut because I go off road and wanted to eliminate even coming close to rubbing . . . so over kill

Same here 5100s on the top setting 285s on 4R SEMAs and no cutting or trimming. A great alignment and I opened the hole more on the bottom hole on the factory mud guards and slid them back about 3/4 of an inch. No issues

Are you running a negative offset on your wheels?

Would you have picture of the way that you modify the factory mud flap... I was thinking in put something aftermarket... but If I could put the oem would be much better...

Its the bottom bolt looking up. Take the guard off and oval the hole out with a drill and when you put it back on slide the guard back so the now opening aligns. Its very simple and makes a big difference.

Clean. Contemplating yellow fog lights, are those diode elite fogs or just overlays on the LED fog lights? If they're overlays, do they look green when the lights are on? If they are diode, would you recommend? And do you use the amber backlight feature?

    +1 for Barcelona Red!

Purchased certified two months ago, looks to be OEM led with overlays.

They looked yellow until you made me look, now I see both lol.

Oh no, I am so sorry! Thank you for the pictures though, I was worried like some others that they may look "green" when on but they look good when the lights aren't on. I do apologize if that bothers you now :(

I want to do 285/70/18 on my stock 2022 limited rims that are 7.5" wide.
Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Rough country 3" Lift. From all I read, this should work.
