Does this need to be done with the 4 cylinder too? Same location?

 

Anyone know torque spec for the PCV valve?

 

I wish the video showed the actually disassembly. I need visuals, not explanation after everything has been taken apart.

 

Just snug it up a little more than finger tight. The setting is an inch pounds my torque wrench won’t even go that low. In

44 inch pounds.

 

Yeah ibdont think my torque wrench measures in inch pounds...is that for 1/4 wrenches only?

But you may be able to get to the PCV valve without taking that dampening foam off. I was just copying the way someone else did it.

 

on a 3rd gen, since its plastic, its very easy to snap it off inside the motor by over tightening it.

 

Yeah I just might do that give it a slight turn after hand tighten
