I didn’t realize I could remove the whole SAIS unit with the complete Hewitt delete kit lol!

Only if you buy the extra parts. Their simulators for the valves are $250 a pop. Plus the cost of the plug-n-play unit you're over the cost or close to just buying an HP Tuner.

I have the full kit right down to the simulators. Didn’t realize I could just remove everything from the truck now.

Then yeah, you can. You can even get the headers off a non-sais truck (pre 2012) and swap them so you don't need to plate them. Just verify fitment ahead of time.

Also need the pre 12’ valve cover to make that work.

For what reason? Once the headers are covered, there's nothing else to cover up? Unless you are just trying to get rid of these studs?

Just had my whole SAIS unit removed, didn’t need to a pre ‘12 valve cover.

Could he had meant the gaskets for the headers??

IMG_9315.jpg It’s been over 5 years. I thought I read it on TW somewhere they had to be swapped. I went all the way into the cam gears and to the Y pipe. When I came back out I cleaned everything up.
