Giants are starting off the season hot! Went to the game Saturday evening and caught Bailey and Chapman's Gold Glove ceremony and a pair of bobbleheads, but no foul balls.

Went to Goblin Valley, Horseshoe Canyon, Orange Cliffs, and back to the Canyonlands' Maze District last month with @bot102 and one of his coworkers last month. Utah never fails to provide some great hiking and amazing scenery.

The first time I went to Green River, I wasn't too impressed on arrival but back on the trail, does not disappoint.

Edited to be a bit more specific, since some of those photos are closer to the San Rafael Swell than the Green River.

Green River, to me at least, is just the place you tell people to go as a meeting point. :)

Put it on your list of Green River meetup spots. Good burgers and friendly bartenders.

I am a little bummed that we didn't actually make it down to the river to dip our feet in, since we had a good hike down to Spanish Bottom on the Colorado River the last time we were at The Maze. Due to fuel concerns with the Jeep we were with and it being relatively late in the day, we ended up stopping at our campsite below Ekker Butte instead of making the 27-mile trip down to Queen Anne's Bottom and back. On the bright side, that gave me time for a hike out to the canyon rim above the river and practically within spitting distance of White Rim.

I took on Mini Sluice for the first time at at Prairie City. It went well going uphill. Got stuck a little stuck here and there but found my way through. Then I turned around and went through it downhill and got stuck on my slider. Had to use the winch to get off. It's nice they have those yellow poles for winching. Fun stuff

That's a fun one. Did they open up the gate below it (at the base of the steps), or do you still have to come down and around to go up it?

Yeah the gate was open. I got some good scrapes on all the skids. I wish I had a couple more inches of clearance under there.
