well this is aggressively true.

Maybe I should monitize... I know one of our local Land cruiser guys puts on meme-worthy organized rides with "trail boss" and "run groups"

tbh they do a great job, but its... just a trail ride

 

they are actually PHEV - plug in Hybrid electric vehicle, and I can't believe there aren't more vehicles in the segment.

 

When I was still at our dealership, those Hybrids (even though they were priced much higher) came out to the same cost of a gas-equivalent with all the rebates and credits you got from buying or leasing one.

 

we are looking at getting a 3 row SUV this summer and definitely want to go hybrid. Only a handful of plug in options from what I've seen so far, I think Kia, Mazda and Volvo make one from what I recall.

 

Rebecca really loves the Ford Expedition Max that we rented on a trip a couple years ago, but that thing is a fucking cruise ship. And I don't think has a hybrid option. About the same MPG as my old 4runner but with a 28 gallon tank that sucker would hurt to fill up.

Plug-in hybrid is a great balance for most people. My folks tried to get a RAV4 Prime a few years ago but couldn't find one on a lot so they settled for the regular hybrid. It's a shame, their driving habits are perfect for a plugin-in: Frequent sub-20-mile trips and only occasional 100+ mile trips.

 

It’s actually rebounding a bit today. It’ll probably go down tomorrow when they announce $shitcoin will become the next official currency or something

 

Finally getting my own place, I agree with m3bassman, roommates aren’t worth the savings.

 

in some cases they can cost more money than you save lol
