    Yes it is . Picked it up in I think 1990-92 I did have to pay top dollar for it $800.00 it was only the 2nd one I had seen and 1st one for sale

    No the AR is locked in the holder and the mag is in a groove on the opposite side of the holder, It is all rock solid and doesn’t rattle going down the road.

    I dunno. Truck guns in my mind (and I may be wrong) are long guns. I have a but load of guns I carry on my side, but have very few I'd consider a truck gun. I consider this a truck gun!
