Trucky truck has gotten an eff ton of little fixes trying to find this effin' squeeel. I swear!!

replaced hoses, clamps, check valves, gaskets, waste gate, even traded throttle bodies with the 4runner...she continues to sing. I'm hoping this is the last fix...

I've got my monsta liner here now too -- if I didn't need to put the tent on for next weekend -- she'd start getting pretty for a change. lol. been wasting too much time trying to make her stop SINGING. TRUCKS AREN'T SUPPOSED TO SING!!!

I fixed the 4Runner key fob lol. Some corrosion on the battery terminals and board. No battery cover so tape it was.

These fobs make me sort of like Viper fobs in comparison. I’d much rather have OEM keyless entry but at least there are replacement remotes and parts for viper systems. The FCC ID for this fob brings back two results on eBay. Both fobs in equal or worse shape. Not that it matters at all for this truck’s short remaining life.

The small ones were super cheap, like $4-5 even being Targé

Big one there was on sale for $20 so I was like, no fucking way I'm getting it

Take it apart, cut out the air restrictor and throw a heavier spring in it for more fun

 

lulz - I finally just got rid of ours in our last clean out of things; had several modified darts -- frickers huuurt!

 

They make easy pull kid ones.

youre not wrong. thats not including other parts either, especially with the way things are going

 

just looked at my spreadsheet, I have about 3k into SAS parts hoard and was planning another 3-4k to be able to actually complete it. ofc that was pre tariffs so that goalpost is probably moving even further away.

 

Gotta order it all like today and buy up all the old stock before it jumps
