Yeah, Im struggling to find out how the last couple months of 70s and 80s (with a few rainy 60s sprinkled in) is somehow not good enough

I am not completely insane. 115 makes heavy-steep-hill hiking dangerous. But I really like warm nights instead of 40s.

I am an Arizona native and I'm okay with anything between 75 and 105. Anything below or above and I'm too cold or too hot. I think the best times of the year are between mid-September to right about this time of year. That's just my two pennies though.

Although, I did spend a year in LA and if I could find work I'd move back in a heartbeat.

20250409_135908.jpg 20250409_140523.jpg Calling all bike nerds..... I'm trying to get back into riding and just bought an older Santa Cruz Nomad. I'm not gonna be bombing down mountains anytime soon but needed something that will handle anything and I can hopefully grow into as my riding progresses. Also just bought my 2 little girls bikes so I needed something to ride with them and help encourage them to stay with it. This thing has more shit going on than anything I rode 25yrs ago. I'm slowly figuring it out. I desperately need a new seat/ saddle though... anyone have any suggestions for something comfortable for my 40yr old fat ass that won't brake the bank and keep my ass bones from getting bruised? Currently working with a dick shaped taint pounding wedgy machine....

A good friend used to say.... 100° is fine, over 105° and it's just a hundred and fuck, over a hundred and 10, it's a hundred and fuck teen. It's the 100 and fuck teens that hurt.

o_O I think that seat is supposed to be in the vertical orientation.

I guess... to me a saddle is for horses. But when you start looking online, half of them are called a saddle.... idfk

Looks like it would be more fitting that way and ridden in a gay pride parade.

The Pivot WTB saddle has been my go-to for the last ~9,000 miles.

Though it is still rather cock shaped. Haha

I've only known a saddle to go on a horse myself. Is that the same as potato and potatoe? LoL.. I don't know these days.

Pretty sure the guy just threw it on for the sale. He even said that would be something he would change. I didn't complain as I was getting it for a steal.

You get used to it, surprisingly.

As a pro-tip, I also bend over in the camper and ask the wife to repeatedly punch me right in my taint to increase my resiliency. Half an hour a night for a couple of weeks works like a charm.

I haven't ridden a bike in a long while but I can see how that type of seat would work for certain types of riding.
