Finally past that Break In Period. Nice!

 

Installed some 1" spacers for that pokey poke.

 

Will be doing the same when I switch back to summer tires.

 

Finally got around to replacing my fuel mavericks with SCS Ray 10s, 17x8.5 wrapped in new wildpeak AT/4W 255/80/17s. First set of skinny’s for me coming from the AT/3W 285/70/17!

Put the Skidplate on easy job. Received half of my grill the lights sensor and the letters. Kinda scared email said everything was delivered

 

Testing fitment on a replica TRD shift knob, I'm not sure I'm going to keep it though as it feels much smaller than the standard Tacoma shift knob

 

Does you left rear poke more or less than your right?

 

Hmm, I don't think so. I went out and looked and they seem pretty even to me

 

Based on those photos it appears the right sticks out more than the left on that truck...but it could just be an optical illusion from the camera angle.

 

You got me wondering, so I went out and measured. From tire sidewall to fender on driver it's 1 5/8". Passenger is 2 1/8". So a .5" difference. Is there an easy fix for this? Or is it a Tacoma thing?

 

The bed is likely not centered. Don't worry about or look for any other flaws if you're ocd.

Got the tires mounted up today. Yokohama Geolandar G003 MT 255/85R16. I still have a few minor details to attend to and I will be finished (for now).

 

Just put my Meso roof molle panel in, after it being in the box for over 2.5 years. Had to get the campaign done for the third brake light first.

 

Installed this magnetic phone mount made only for Tacomas. I gotta say this is the best mod I’ve done so far for its convenience.

I haven’t found a reasoning other than the axle is slightly shifted right. Visually the bed to cab looks similar

I figured I’d share a slight annoyance but if you find something let me know

 

How strong is the magnet? I've always used magnetic holders but went with a clamp style for off-roading this time. It interferes with my charging cord.

 

It’s strong man. I went off roading this weekend near Lake Tahoe. I almost need two hands to take it off the mount lol exactly what I needed.
