 Oof, that's rough. I don't even have to look at the instructions for my opener anymore. I'm actually scared I'm going to hit the limit.. I have my car's remote, there is one built into the mirror, too, but I keep the remote in there as a backup, my wife's, the one we keep on the stroller, the old one I was using before I made the buttons, the two new button remotes, and the wireless keypad. So that's 8 remotes? I think I saw that they start dropping off after 7 so it'll be a fun game of russian roulette to see which one doesn't work anymore :anonymous:

I'll usually just buy through my shop, as he normally does the installs. He price matches too.

I would definitely recommend the Road 6. I've had my current Road 6 rear coming up on a year now, about 12k miles. I'm gonna see if I can push my front to 20k, it still looks close to new. Great traction for regular commuting or canyon runs as long as you aren't trying to drag a knee every corner. Does great in the rain too, if you ever find yourself in that position.

just rub it in why don't you....

yeah we first realized it was an issue when I couldn't get my truck's mirror buttons to program with it. Couldn't get an ex's Mazda to program with it either, or my roommates old M2. Luckily there's a keypad so I don't have to walk around the house to open it lol

Oh yeah I have ridden Michelin tires for a long time, currently have a road 6 on the rear of the super tenere that is probably about 70% done in ~5k miles (lots of aggressive take offs and canyon riding). Its been a great tire thats super predictable. In fact on my old Honda 919 I had a great system. New set of Pilot Power 2ct's front and rear, chew the rear up in ~2.5k miles, throw a Road on the rear and get ~3.5k miles out of it at which time the front was donezo around the 6k mile mark. Then wash rinse and repeat.

Huge Michelin Fan here as well, on 2 wheels AND on 4. Scored Road 5's for the GRiSO after the 6's came out, as they dropped a bit in price. Also have Pilots on the 1000S and the Jackal.

Just retired a set of LTX A/T2 from my Tacoma after 115k miles, and put a new set of Cross Climates on my Fiancé's CX9. I'm a fan.

I had a set of those cross climates. They do work well but man they have an ugly sidewall/tread pattern.

    Currently running dws06

They do look odd but man, the wet road/snow traction on an AWD crossover is unbelievable.

Another thing you will need is a water trap. You don’t want moisture getting into the blast media.
I have a copper line coming from the compressor into a radiator to help cool the air, then into a water separator then into the tank. Out of the tank it goes into a long U shape piping with a water trap at the bottom of each pipe. Then into the the hose reel. That is just for the air that I use for tools and such. Then I have another section that I can unplug the hose reel and plug a flex line into that runs 10+feet first through a water separator into copper pipe that is in u shaped then travels to another water trap. Then into a pressure regulator into a water filter. I use this for sand blasting, paint gun and powder gun. Also when I am blasting my 60 gal compressor runs the entire time.

Got one monkey wheel blasted. Took an hour so now I am taking a break and letting the compressor cool down and getting something to eat. I will go back out and blast the other when I am done. Here are pics of progress between on that’s blasted and not blasted.

Blasted the rust off and welded up a crack and some support where the frame had been bent somehow. Spray painted and then mounted a new tire on the rear wheel. Ordered a new tire for the front and then ill list it on fb. Dont mind spending the stuff on the tools because i needed them for the truck anyways.

Hopefully get $200 out of it. Bought it for $75.

Oh for some reason I thought you had a cabinet. Ya that can get expensive if you are doing it outside often.

Got both wheels done. Also the rear fender, exhaust shield, handle bar risers and front turn signal mounts blasted. That was about 4 hrs total of blast time. Lots of labor just getting parts ready. Still have another 4hrs worth of blasting left. Then the fun part.

I have an old Eastwood compressor that I bought off Craigslist. If you are unfamiliar, Eastwood makes blasting and painting equipment. It is 220v 20 gal and will do 8.5 CFM at 90psi. It works very well for my blast cabinet and hvlp gun, it will do about 12 CFM at 45 psi. What psi is the 10 CFM requirement?

It was 90 psi. But it actually worked fine without overworking the compressor. So im not sure where they even got their numbers.
