It will still work on a 13-15 truck. Very minor modification needed to the last tailpipe hanger. 05-12 hanger faces towards driver side, 13-15 hanger face towards the rear. I have a 13-15 system on my 08. Took a torch to the hanger til red and turned it 90 degrees.

Yup. The listing's been up since March of last year. Offered to pay for shipping and a bit more but he wouldn't budge. Figured since OP is local to seller, I'd mention it.

You think it isn’t selling just because of the location and niche?
It seems like a good deal.

A resonator, like the one circled in the spec u exhaust would probably alleviate the majority of the rasp.

I’m comparing the one on urd to this pic and they are a bit different yet almost the same idea. That first resonator….is that hanging pretty low?

No it tucks up pretty good. I have the spec u on my 3rd gen and there is no low hanging parts on it. I also had rasp issues with just the y-pipe and tried a few exhausts. Nothing got rid of it until I got the spec U with the resonator built in. Def a lot of variables there but I am confident the resonator is what quieted the rasp.

The "stock" photo on URD is an old version of the Spec U. The current version is what is for sale on fb and of the pic posted couple post above.

were you also fighting the scavenging noise? Like a rattle almost, at 2500rpm? Yea the rasp is an awful by-product of the v6

The youtube video I shared couple posts up is of a complete SPEC U system. SPEC U header & SPEC U exhaust. Search up gearhead garage on yt and watch his in depth video to see if that's what you'd like your truck to sound like.

I have the exact same set up, pretty sure I do have a leak…I’ll have to get it double checked.

I am looking at gearhead garage and I don't see anything remotely like a gen2 taco
